Geothermal Loop

Geothermal loop fields consist of individual geothermal wells where heat is transferred between the ground and the water of the central water loop. When warmer water from the return water line enters the geothermal loop wells, heat from the water is rejected into the ground. The cooler water is then pumped back to the SmartSource WSHPs via the source line where the process of cooling the indoor environment repeats.
